S3 has dynamic web servers fyi..static deployment isn't a panacea or specialized thing. You can put a dynamic process behind a CDN same as an S3 bucket and get the same or better performance as a static prerendered thing without a build step or associated tools.
I ack this a narrative violation for how some frontend devs have been taught but promise it's true !
