Haven't heard of Chronicle before, looks cool.
That said, our capacity to package services is quite limited. In the very early days, it was necessary to bootstrap the marketplace with a few services, and we continue to maintain a few staples, but largely it is up to developers or their communities to package the service for StartOS, just like they would for Mac, Windows, Debian, etc.
Many developers will not see value in packaging for StartOS yet, but hopefully in time there is enough pressure potential users that they will see value in it. We're already seeing this with many services, dozens in fact, so the trend is definitely positive. I wish we had infinite resources, but we don't don't, and what we have will remain largely focused on OS development.
