i'm white & i was raised affluent so i had a TON of racist ideas baked into my worldview from the get-go

i didn't magically bc anti-racist in ideology when a beam of light shone down on me, & i sure as shit wasn't born that way

i had to have my consciousness raised & then do the hard fucking work of examining myself and trying to be better

it's a work in progress. but we are all responsible for our own moral character & we are ALL OF US responsible for shedding the prejudices of our age
