For years I've been annoyed at how small my garage seemed. Turns out that I wasn't wrong. It's 19' x 18.5', which is a bit smaller than the usual 20'x20'. And man, that extra foot in each direction would have been very, very nice.
And it looks like it was built to the plan of 20', just that 20' was to the exterior of the walls, not interior walls, which is pretty significant difference.
