I used to be the kind of person who swore I’d never have children, wholly devoted to my work and the pursuit of success. At the time, my career was everything, and I believed that was enough. But after reaching the heights I had worked so hard for, I found myself wondering if there wasn’t something more to life. That question led me to start a family—and now, I finally understand. In many ways, having children has been the ultimate teacher, granting me a deeper wisdom I didn’t know I was missing.
