I’m applying to join the board of directors of a local LGBT organisation, and they’ve asked for a CV (that’s British for résumé). My wife’s CV includes a dozen jobs ranging from youth worker to penguin keeper, but I’ve been working for one company for 17 years (albeit rising from junior developer to company director). Do I include my education? My degree isn’t in a relevant subject and I can’t even remember my A-level grades. Do I mention my National Grid site — it’s my most public achievement?
