I wonder how prevalent serious psychiatric illnesses like schizophrenia spectrum and bipolar disorders are among the homeless in the UK. The consensus seems to be that rates of such illnesses in the USA homeless population are at least 5-6 times greater than seen in the overall population. Since such illnesses have behavioral symptoms, including spending that some judge as being irresponsible, I hope the investigators take that under consideration.
