James Finn on Nostr: I often write about intersex people in conjunction with calls to respect queer equity ...
I often write about intersex people in conjunction with calls to respect queer equity and equality, but I use LGBTQ as an umbrella term for all queer people, including intersex people who identify as queer. I use the same practice regarding two spirit, asexual, non-binary people, etc. As a writer, I have to decide how practical an umbrella term can be. Right now, I'm settled on "LGBTQ" for all members of gender and sexual minorities. I think its Q inclusiveness is widely understood.
