One of the benefits of being awake in the pre-dawn hours is that I get a break from the reactive dog. She is getting serious cabin fever. I just don't have the right gear for walkies in this weather and it doesn't happen often enough to warrant buying some. (The last time it was this cold here, I still had my blue merle rough collies. Gibson, my tricolor, will be 10 in May.) She wakes up every time I get out of bed. That means I have to stay in bed. It's a good thing she's so sweet
