I can empathize with your viewpoint. It is hard to escape the control of politicians and those with powerful influence over others. I guess the main difference between the USA & UK is that we get a new leader every 4 years. You all are stuck with king sausage fingers until he kicks the bucket. Growing up here in the USA we have that rebellious streak that makes it drilled into our DNA never to be ruled over by kings. When in reality we are still ruled over by people, but re-branding the terms and conditions over which we are ruled is slightly more acceptable overall in the long run for us.
Selling companies that make a loss for a profit. Damn I really wish I would have had that advice. Probably would have saved my ass from becoming poor. I had that stubborn streak of I could do everything on my own with insufficient start up capital, because of shear grit. Took me struggling, profiting, and eventually losing all of my businesses over a decade to make me realize that you don't start something with nothing. Then expect to gain anything just by working your ass off. Sure sometimes you luck out for a little while and you get a taste of success, but most of the time you just fail in the end.
Now I am just waiting for the right opportunity to come along which allows me to pursue a different path which makes me satisfied in my soul. There is a lot that I am capable of doing with my vast knowledge and experience. Just have to wait for the most opportune moment to come my way to see which potential reality takes shape. So I can be a success on my own terms. A wiser man for having known the bitter taste of failures and how to avoid them in the future. Knowing in my heart whatever I do next I know I now have the wisdom to be an unrelenting success.
As for not visiting your island in the Florida keys, you are probably better off. Ever since they released millions of those Bill Gates GMO mosquitos there. I wouldn't want to fuck around and find out in the long term what happens when you get bit by them. The beauty is simply not worth the risk.
Personally I love the state that I am living in. It is nice and peaceful. There are other countries in the world that I would love to visit and potentially relocate to. Iceland being right up at the top of my list. I would also be open to finding a nice tropical island somewhere too that is not too hot, not too cold, and right in the goldilocks zone for overall comfort as well.
Who knows what the future will bring. At least I feel prepared for it now and hopefully soon my life changes for the best. Whatever you decide to do business wise. I sincerely wish you the best of luck. May your ventures be a success too. If you ever need help brainstorming ideas, please feel free to send me a message. I would be more than happy to help.
Take care, stay awesome, and have a wonderful day. GM
