So Instagram does this thing. It autoplays videos with no way to turn off autoplay. The only UI affordance is to mute the audio. If you stop a video from playing it stops but scroll down and every video autoplays, until you stop it. If you see something interesting, you've missed the opening seconds and there's no way to restart until it loops.
I can't imagine an interface less A11y friendly or worse for providing information.
But it sure is sticky. It's designed to keep you on IG forever.
