It’s a challenge for miners because we’re stuck with very few choices for quality assets. I’m not super concerned with it being some kind of an attack vector - it’s more just a supply chain vulnerability for me.
I do think American ASICs are coming, but not for a few years at the scale, quality, and price point to really start disrupting bitmain/micrBT.
