I used to use #k3s in my #homelab but found the idle load unacceptably high. K3S was effectively busy managing itself. This was due to a number of bugs that were fixed later, but still then K3S consumed a substantial amount of CPU cycles. A subtle Bug in the flannel network layer that caused lost packages then finally convinced me, that k8s is not the right tool for my homelab (it might be fine to learn k8s).
