Here is a reminder that the life of a CD-R isn't very good.

I have a bunch of CDs from this small Canadian record label circa 2002.

A bunch of them are CD-Rs, straight from the dude's computer. Or at least, they *were* CD-Rs.

Now they don't have any data and cdparanoia just chokes.
