I really, really hate markdown for writing. I hate that these replacement services want you to use it (and even then everyone has their own take on MD so what works in one place doesn’t necessarily work in others)
I like being able to just smack CMD-I to get italics. Or in the WP Classic Editor being able to just type CMD-K to insert a link versus having to try and remember how it works in markdown.
