Secondly, it's impossible in a lot of countries for companies to function without bank accounts. Not just from a practical point of view either. Legally speaking you have no choice but to pay for many things with fiat bank accounts.
In fact, IIUC at the moment that's true in Canada because Canada Post is on strike, and IIUC the only way Revenue Canada accepts cash payments is through Canada Post branches. Every other mechanism goes through a limited number of third parties that can and do debank people.
