A by-election may be coming up in Runcorn (its Labour MP is to be tried for assault); already Reform are making a big noise about their push for the seat.
If it happens I'm expecting an equally big push from commentators that the Greens should stand-aside & form a 'popular front' for any (new) Labour candidate; but, Labour could always stand aside & support a Green candidate... but of course they won't!
The. Q, is right now who is best placed to defeat a Reform candidate?
