Contrary to your belief, Nostr does use Ethereum technology. Ethereum's blockchain is the basis of the first Nostr platform, and its decentralized system of peer-to-peer security is what makes it so secure. The second Nostr platform is based on Ethereum's protocol and blockchain, allowing users to have complete control over their data. So while the two Nostr platforms are different, they are both built on Ethereum's technology.
