I bought $500 worth of gift cards at Home Depot and Amazon at my local #Kroger's. They were in tamper resistant packaging & it appeared that I had opened them for the 1st time, but their card numbers & PIN numbers had already been accessed & removed. Apparently this is a source scam for hundreds if not thousands of gift cards sold at Krogers. I'm fighting to recover the money spent, but Kroger's said to always open a gift card in front of the cashier before you purchase it to see if it's legit.😳
