When the 29th is on a weekend, it is generally pushed to the 30th, if not the 1st of the next month.
I've been with CreateSpace then KDP since 2016 and it has always been that way.
The people who count on books sales to pay rent have problems with this delay, many having arranged agreements with landlords.
