One of reasons given for supposed failure of publicly owned industry which led to sale to private sector was about an unproductive workforce. Rarely do we hear of poor management decisions . Similarly, politicians rarely admit to mistakes or making poor decisions. One example where leadership is sometimes called out is the well known saying from the Great War of "lions led by donkeys".
