FTR — I have decided to wait for #Crowdstrike publishing a post-mortem and also the reports by various national/suprantional IT security authorities. Root cause seems to have been a classic NULL pointer #Oopsie that sailed through CI/CD and testing unnoticed. That's enough for me ATM. A lot of speculation and conspiracy theories in my timeline that I will simply ignore. Let's have a fun weekend!
