Teaching my kid to make sushi rice for new years! He's done it before but it's been long enough that he doesn't remember so he's excited to do it again. I guess I should make sushi more than once or twice a year.
Obasan (my great aunt) used to have a huge spread of food; ours will be more modest as we aren't expecting company. 🎉
