"content": "This is the location of Apollo 15's Lunar Module ascent stage impact relative to the target point and landing site. I have also shown a possible impact location for Luna 2, the first human artifact to reach the Moon. Its location is usually shown northwest of here but this is the place where a dark spot, perhaps a dust cloud, was observed at the time. Frankly, probably not real but it might be.
