But if it were to remain X11-only, I would worry, since Red Hat is the primary maintainer of X.Org and they've already deprecated it for RHEL 9 and it will be absent entirely in RHEL 10. Meaning when RHEL 9 goes EOL, X.Org is essentially going to be unmaintained upstream unless other people come in and save it.
