As someone who had a terrible stutter as a kid, but was lucky enough to grow out of it, watching Biden speak brings back hard memories for me. My brain knew exactly what to say but it’s not what came out of my mouth. My thoughts were advanced but what was vocalized wasn’t right. People thought I was dumb, talked down to me, and underestimated me because they thought a speaking impediment meant I wasn’t capable. I completely grew out of it and not everyone does. I feel for Biden.
