For example, Gen X are those aged 45 to 60 now, but in 2045 they'll be aged 65 to 80. Each generation carries with it a set of interests and influences. If you are creating a radio show today for people aged 45-60, the content would be vastly different to a show designed for that same age group in 1960 or 1980 or even 2000. But a show for Gen X might be quite similar.
