I ran a oneshot over the normal session to help everyone get character sheets into order and have an opportunity to live combat test some enemies. They uh, got really, really good rolls for initiative and vaporized the weak vamps I sent at them but it still worked out since they felt too intimidated to challenge the boss after having drained their mana early.
