I don't LazyToot often, but here goes:
I'm thinking about a used laptop for use as a #Linux-based dev and maintenance device (writing #rustlang, console-ing into #servers and #network gear, etc.) I haven't been in the *GUI* Linux world in ages, so what would folks recommend? I'm particularly interested in decent off-the-shelf compatibility from major distros, as I'm no longer in the "build your own toaster just because you can" phase of my computing life. 🙃
