Most polls aren't 'important' enough to warrant the worry imo, and their unimportance means it's not likely to be scammed.
But having fun and facilitating engagement on a social media platform isn't meaningless. It could potentially contribute to keeping people here. (Imagine @primal sidebar has Popular / Latest polls' for eg. cc

You could say the same thing about zap polls, you could just have zaps with an Yes emoji message and zaps with a No emoji message instead. Do away with polls altogether.
