1 advantage we have is highly skilled labour moving from abroad has flat 25% tax for 3 yrs. It should allow saving up to buy a place (also expensive), but not if 3/4 of income is going on rent.

I've a number of new colleagues moving to Copenhagen + I've honestly been shocked at the rental prices here now. It's never been a cheap city, but it was never as bad as London. Now I fear it's worse.
We can't possibly recruit + retain like this. And it affects the whole society.
