If only Mastodon had a way to block strings in inbound messages at the server level. It would’ve been so easy to stop this week’s spam flood: “hey everyone, block toots containing this URL and then we’re done with it.” So many have asked (eg
https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/29256 as a random example among many), and yet here we are.
