At the very least users should be warned from the get-go no to have private conversations in #Nostr.
quoting nevent1q…x62pDigging a little deeper, apparently because of the way the thing is built, the protocol itself doesn't really support private messaging, other than the message itself being encrypted, all the metadata, including the sender/receiver, ip address, date, etc, is in the open.
I get that #Nostr was built with censorship resistance in mind more that privacy, but in my mind the two are very much linked together.
