Yeah, unfortunately tribalism is baked into our brains. Society has moved a lot faster than our brains have evolved. We still have caveman brains for the most part.
Not saying that somebody can't make a serious effort to recognize those thought patterns and then actively work against them.
But, like a couple people have said, that takes too much critical thinking for the average person.
