One of the things I like about living in Scotland is that while in most places you're walking down the street past a bunch of concrete and glass blocks, here you turn a corner and your eyes are assaulted by something like this, magnificent in its excess. (This one doesn't even have the down pipes from the guttering that are disguised as cannon. Cannons made of stone! A common architectural feature, like Scottish gargoyles.)
