"content": "I understand GDP is 'easy' to measure but I'm not entirely sure how it handles overseas earnings.\nSo if a UK Co mines expensivum in Ruritania for a few bob a ton, and then sells it on the open London minerals market for mega thousands per ton. Is that included in the UK GDP and productivity figures, as that's where it's taxed.\nOr is it added to Ruritania s GDP and productivity?",
