when I was in Costa Rica last year, the water on the Pacific side was warmer than I'd like my bath. And last month when I went to PEI, when I went wading at the beach near my parents' place, it was disturbingly warm. I went in the ocean to cool off on a hot day, and it just made me feel hotter.
