My response to people who say the US needs to be more like Europe is "You mean like Switzerland?"

1) everyone is required to own a rifle and know how to use it
2) obsessively neutral
3) Strong export economy of high quality products
4) Distributed power as written into the constitution.
5) No one is planning a terrorist attack, mostly because no one has a real beef with the Swiss.
6) Most of the country is multilingual and OK with it
