Only white people think there are no white people. It's important to their mystique. And only they are decadent enough to think that each of them is his own island.
Not-warring with other countries makes people see you as peaceful, but also as weak. It's not like white people have the capacity to do so, anymore, without getting sent home (again!), with their tail between their legs.
