One very, very snowy evening, the car cut out and the suspension released, lowering the car and scooping up tons of snow. Over the bonnet, in the wheel arches, in the engine bay, above the wishbones. We had to walk back to the nearest village to get help. By the time we got back, the car had shifted (as it was sat on top of snow as well as under) and it was pretty much just a solid block of ice and it couldn’t be towed. Couldn’t dig it out as it would likely slide down the hill, so we chained it to a nearby tree.

Didn’t have a great track record did, Citroen. Only recently have they rectified this.
