I really don't mind if my neighbour loves his karaoke machine. I don't mind if I can hear it. I mind when he over does the reverb. Presumably he has it set to "cathedral" or similar but, when echoed through the wall, all I hear is the reverb and not the actual singing.
It genuinely sounds like I'm listening to the whale song in "ST IV:The Voyage Home" - before Spock adjusts it for being underwater!
