Today the world is being asked to mourn the deaths of 1,139 people a year ago, in solidarity with Israel, while at the same time being asked to overlook the 42,612 Palestinian deaths resulting from Israel's "self-defence".
How is that not double standard?
For each of those 1,139 lives, 37 Palestinians (mostly children) have been killed so far.
How is that protecting civilians? How is that a proportional response in self-defence? How is that not the expression of a supremacist ideology?
