> Being religious or not is not a biological trait.

First of all, this isn't true. Being prone to religious experience might and probably has a biological component. Just as intelligence, height, and other qualities are. I don't have a study to reference, but I'm willing to bet that children of religious parents are often more religious even if raised separately.

Second, the specifics barely matter. It's still a Darwinian process because natural selection is involved.

>These are the basic tenets of evolution by natural selection as defined by Darwin:
> 1. More individuals are produced each generation than can survive.
> 2. Phenotypic variation exists among individuals and the variation is heritable.
> 3. Those individuals with heritable traits better suited to the environment will survive.
> 4. When reproductive isolation occurs new species will form.

Being religious is a phenotypic trait and it seems beneficial in the modern day and age. I'm not saying that you should adopt a religion. I'm saying that if you want more atheists in the world, YOU SHOULD GET YOUR DICK HARD, SLIDE IT INTO A FERTILE FEMALE PUSSY (duh...), AND LITERALLY MAKE MORE ATHEISTS, you big silly dummy.
