Live-streaming on Twitch was a major hobby of mine until it “nearly” became a job around 2017-2018. Things take a sharp turn when fun is switched for stats, numbers, engagement growth and ultimately trying to see if you can change careers and become a content creator because you get Verified/Partnered.
Impostor syndrome, burnout and so on… can be a huge burden.
I haven’t given up, but I’ve learnt to not force myself to do something I feel is not working.
Learning new skills, studying and finding new interests is revitalising.
I’m starting as a newb on something that isn’t extremely related to Bitcoin, which is another BIG interest in my life. But I’m sure I will find ways to link it up and make it useful for myself and others.
