CoinOS is custodial, so there is no seed backup. You will need to reach out to CoinOS if you lose access to your account with them.
The benefit of Alby when using CoinOS would be connecting it to the Alby extension, so you can easily zap from your CoinOS wallet balance while using Nostr web apps. For any Nostr client that supports Nostr Wallet Connect, you can just connect CoinOS directly, without going through Alby.
Using Alby Go on your phone and connecting your CoinOS wallet via NWC will allow you to use your CoinOS wallet as a regular lightning wallet for transactions outside of Nostr. CoinOS can be added to your homescreen as a PWA, of course, but having a native wallet app is handy, too, especially since Alby Go allows you to have several separate NWC wallets connected to it at the same time. It's kind of like Zeus that way, but only for NWC enabled wallets.
As for lightning address, you can absolutely just put your CoinOS address into your profile for receiving zaps.
