Tell me John isn’t describing a futuristic military drone. I wonder if the gold crowns is some type of sensor, maybe in the future they put faces on the drones to skirt other facial recognition. Women’s hair could be some type of net or wires. Wings roared like an army of chariots sounds exactly like what drones sound like. Tails that sting like scorpions sounds like a gun that paralyzes / inflict pain without killing.
