This is from the FRS/GMRS template in Chirp.
If I understand correctly, listening on ch15 = listening to 462.55 mhz but keying the mic on ch15 tells your radio to transmit on 467.55 mhz?
If there are no repeaters in your area, would you clear the + and 5.0000 fields so you're actually transmitting on 462.55 mhz?
Thinking maybe I should get a legit GMRS radio and just use this GI Joe brick as a police scanner.
