I keep seeing people posting “privacy is not a crime,” but unfortunately that’s not true. Privacy SHOULDN’T be a crime in the U.S., but it has been criminalized from the start, despite the 4th Amendment.
The government has continuously encroached on and criminalized privacy over the years. And even if something isn’t explicitly illegal, it doesn’t matter. The government has never and will never follow their own rules. They will do whatever they want with impunity. The state never follows their own rules, they are above the law. Only occasionally will they get a small slap on the wrist if there is a cross-agency disagreement.
The only long term solution is abolishing the state and abiding by the non-aggression principle.
