I don't like phone-posting and am not invested enough yet to download a desktop client. They all had the same problem - you have to click to open notifications which then immediately puts your timeline out of sight. I just want my notifications in a sidebar that peacefully coexists with my timeline like it does in pleroma-fe. Pleroma-fe has the perfect UI. I can compose three separate posts in the same window. I can reply to replies in my notifications while I reply to shit I see on my timeline while I start a whole new thread of my own. I know soapbox overlays notifications too so it wouldn't be hard for a soapbox user to make the transition.
