This is an introduction to a police state.
By giving Texas law enforcement carte blanche to stop anyone, at anytime, at almost anyplace. Because, hey, the person they stop might be an illegal immigrant.
This law can and should be challenged. That something like this became a law ought to scare the hell out people. This is how freedoms are taken, by turning away when one believes they are not a target of persecution, that it is someone else's problem.
